That’s why, through our collaboration with Treedom, Move Forward is becoming greener!
From 2022 to 2025, with the help of Treedom, Move Forward will support the planting of 600 trees—200 each year—promoting the eco-sustainable economic development of the regions.
Reduction of Carbon Footprint
Another important aspect, in addition to the benefits for the regions, is the absorption of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere.
Our small Wood Forward will help absorb approximately 35 tons of CO2 each year for every 200 trees planted.
Where Our Trees Are Located
Although the concept of a forest suggests a single geographical location, Treedom’s projects are actually distributed globally and involve collaboration with local communities who will take care of the trees over time.
Sharing
One concept we particularly loved about Treedom is the idea of Digital Keepers. Each of us can adopt a tree on Treedom and follow its life, growth, and story within the community where it was planted.
Similarly, the trees in Wood Forward can have Keepers.
Since we firmly believe that an ethical and eco-sustainable approach is something to be shared and grown collaboratively, we decided to actively involve our collaborators and clients in our project.
Each person has been assigned trees from Wood Forward, which they can follow, name, gift, and, we hope, add to other trees in the Treedom project.
